En zo begon een nieuw avontuur…

Een terugblik in de tijd.

Met deze handdruk en met dit diploma mag ik me Vakfotograaf noemen. En wat dan? Waar moet je beginnen? Hoe ga je verder?

Tijdens de opleiding kwam ik in aanraking met allerlei aspecten van de fotografie. Allemaal interessant, maar toch, het één sprak me meer aan dan het ander. Na omzwervingen in de bruids-, studio, portret en sportfotografie, ben ik toch weer naar mijn eerste “liefde” teruggekeerd: Natuur, bloemen en dieren. Je wordt uitgedaagd door de steeds veranderende lichtomstandigheden, het weer en de bereidwilligheid van je onderwerp. Iedere minuut is anders. En dat vind ik leuk.

With this handshake and this diploma I may call myself a professional photographer. And then what? Where do you start? How do you continue?

During my studies in photography I studied all kinds of aspects of photography. All very interesting, but still, one appealed to me more than the other. After wandering in bridal, studio, portrait and sports photography, I returned to my first “love’’: Nature, flowers and animals. The challenge of constantly changing lightconditions, the weather and the willingness of your subject. Every minute is different. And I like that.
